If you are looking for a unique and fun place to host your next event, be it a birthday party, wedding/wedding reception or company picnic, the Dakota Zoo has some options for you!
The Pavilion is a covered, open-sided “picnic shelter” type structure that seats up to 300 people with tables and chairs available. It has an enclosed area with a wash sink, counters and hot water that is perfect to accommodate caterers or food service for your event.
The fee for the Pavilion is $100 per hour with a maximum rental fee of $400.00 per day. A reservation is required for the use of the Pavilion, and a deposit is required at the time of your reservation.
Our Discovery Center has a meeting room that will hold up to 40 people maximum with tables and chairs. It is indoors and works perfectly for birthday parties, small meetings and gatherings.
The rental fee for the meeting room is $25 per hour with a maximum rental fee of $100 per day. A reservation is required to utilize this room, and a deposit is required at the time of your reservation.
We also have two outdoor gazebos that can be reserved at no charge to you. These are open air shelters, so weather should be taken into account when planning your event. The gazebos are open to the general public, so reservations are necessary.
