Dakota Zoo Junior Docents
This youth program is designed for energetic and enthusiastic boys and girls ages 12 and 13 years old.
Activities include:

Learn to educate Zoo visitors about animals.

Help with the upkeep of the grounds.

Build animal enrichment gadgets.
-
Face painting and snow cone sales.
-
And other fun things!
Membership:
Each member is required to complete a training program which prepares them for educating Zoo visitors about animals and nature. Membership in this group requires a commitment of time and effort. Each member must have a current Dakota Zoo Membership to participate.
Junior Docent Meetings
This active group of young volunteers meet during the summer in the Dakota Zoo Discovery Center.
